Description

NOW AVAILABLE for back orders.

PopeyMon is now selling these individually.

Previously they were only sold when requested by a customer, in the bundles with a tested and working Sinclair ZX Spectrum or other 1980s computer.

This is NOT a new model of cassette player – those that are available are of very poor quality. One that was bought by PopeyMon from Argos, was tested – and lasted literally minutes – before breaking.

This product is a mono tape player from the 1980s that has been tested for loading and saving programs into a 1980s vintage computer, such as a Sinclair ZX Spectrum.

It will be like the one in the photo, but won’t be exactly the same. If you want photos, or have questions, please get in touch via the Contact page.

The price is the base price. Other models may be a higher price.

Almost all of the models of cassette tape player were made in the Republic of Korea (South Korea), with some being made in Japan, Taiwan or Hong Kong.

Many models were the same physical design, and simply re-badged and re-branded.

You can rely on the usual PopeyMon quality, with it being thoroughly tested and working. This is why customers come back to PopeyMon.
